Our blog challenge for this week is to write about what pics get scrapped and WHEN! I can tell you that I used to be obsessive-compulsive about scrapping Chronologically. Maybe that's why I used be "caught up". It didn't matter if it was Easter-time; if I had pics from Thanksgiving that needed scrapped - I diligently scrapped them IN ORDER!!
Oh how times have changed. I did start submitting about a year ago, which inspired me to scrap whatever the theme of the particular call. If mags were calling for Easter photos in December, I'd scrap whatever Easter photos I had on hand. Once I was on a design team I had to use whatever products I was given to scrap with and find photos that complimented that theme. Hence the tailspin and out of control mountain of unscrapped photos.
Now I am so far behind that I cant even find the MOJO to get caught up!!!! If not for DT assignments I would NEVER scrap.

first-LOVE THE BANNER!!! did you design it?? I need something but am NOT smart enough to figure anything out!
second-I am finally out of the chronical order issue but must scrap a whole event chapter b4 I can move on-I have however created an envie to put extra photos in from each event to pass on to family members so I don't get such a guilty feeling for not scrapping EVERY PHOTO like I was :)
third-finding mojo- I start sorting suppies or photos, flip thru a magazine or clean off the table-any of those will usually spark something of a creative boost.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
so glad to come here and see you are updating more often!
I'm right there with you. I don't scrap cronologically anymore. I found myself getting blocks all the time cause i couldn't get over that one page that was holding me back when i was doing it that way. Now i do what i feel like doing and for the most part it chronological but i jump all over the place. Its fun to go back and scrap pictures i hadn't seen for a long time of the kids when they litle. It does me good i think!
Hey girl.
It was such a great suprise to see a message from you today. Loved your post today. I actually run out of things to scrap--I think that is what happens when you are kiddo-less ;) Hey send some my way...I'll be happy to scrap them :)
Miss ya too, Happy New Year!
