T.G.I.F.

ITS FRIDAY!!!!! The beginning of Birthday weekend #2 for me! The rules state that if your Birthday falls on a Wednesday - both the weekend prior and AFTER are considered your "Birthday Weekend" LMAO! We didnt do anything TRULY significant last weekend...some ball, dinner, shopping with the kids (for the kids) so this weekend I want to do something FUN! Anyone who knows me will agree that I am A HUGE GHOST HUNTERS FAN on Sci Fi - and there are two Paranormal Investigative tours in St Augustine I've been dying to try. One after hours tour of the St Augustine Lighthouse and another EMF tour with a Parapsychologist. I am SO excited about either of these tours - I'll be sure and blog all of my photos of ORBS (dust) and Rods (camera movement)!!! HA HA HA

This is also the END of a somewhat SHORT week for me. I had the day off Wedensday for my Birthday and decided to spend it SCRAPPING!!! I grabbed some starbucks, headed to TCS and scrapped for a solid 7 hours. Afterward Manny & the kids met me for some dinner at Carabbas! YUM

I also did a little SHOPPING at TCS! The new Lime Rickey was in so in order to justify a purchase I committed to using up some of my BG stash. And here is the RESULT!

In Stitchz - yes I swore I'd never sew again but it was EARTH DAY and I was committed to scrapping my stash - so I spent some time and stitched this Bazzill cardstock and scrapped an ADORABLE photo of my Niece Carmyn. I LOVE LOVE this line of BG.

Photobucket

I love it so much I used it TWICE (well it is the only baby GIRL line of pp I own). I scrapped some more photos of my BIL/Niece and used up some old FP Chipboard.

Photobucket

I also busted out some BG Mellow in a page kit that I made over a YEAR AGO - these photos are from Thanksgiving 2007!!! So is this PAPER!!! I feel so relieved to have this paper OUT of my stash and these photos OUT of my procrastination pile. I paired it with some Hambly rub ons and overlays. And stickled to perfection.

Photobucket

Some NOT SO OLD Basic Grey was used to create this LO of my daughter. I titled it Spread Your Wings because its all I could think about when I cut/lifted the wings of the butterflies. LMAO! Since I couldnt get it out of my head I used it in my title. The Chipboard, Ric Rac & Ribbon border are old FP, and the flowers are old Prima w/ Prima centers & a couple American Crafts. My goal was to cover up the design on the Tshirt my daughter is wearing in the photo. It was very distracting.

Photobucket

Finally a quickie LO of Delia and our dog Spotti who turned 13 this year. The cool thing about having a black and white dog is that pretty much EVERYTHING matches - ha ha but the black in her shirt really dictated the color scheme of this LO. I really wanted to keep the chipboard plain for this LO so I stickled the edges in black and used the charms on the letters.

Mornin Peeps!!!

Hope everyone survived the Easter/Passover Holiday. I am EXHAUSTED!!!!!!! I took the kids to an Easter Egg hunt, Dyed some eggs and they enjoyed their Easter Baskets. The easter bunny always gets them a new DVD so we got to see BOLT and TWILIGHT - saving Beverly Hills Chihuahua for this weekend. Oh and we had lunch at GiGi's on Sunday with my BIL/Nieces.

I did manage to pencil in some scrappy time with my gal pals on Friday and it was a BLAST!!! Our girl Amanda was in town and feelin scrappy - so we kidnapped Karen and went to Outback for thum cheethe frithe - LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was HYSTERICAL - but always a good time with Karen and Amanda. I was in scrap heaven at TCS and finished our April All About Me Layout - 5 things I cant live without (and NO it cant be PEOPLE!!)

Photobucket

I also made two cards last week for my Dad/Stepmom and their birthdays - all of these products are from my scraps stash - ENJOY!

New goodies for you!!!

Well WE'RE BAAAAAAACK!!!!! We made it back from our little weekend getaway at World Golf Village where a whole lot of memories were made. Between the hilarity in the crop room, random golfers, roadside assistance, and Janis Joplin, I dont think I've laughed that hard in years.

Without further ado - I present to you my creations from the weekend. Some of these are blatant scraplifts and I will post credit to the original designers later, I forgot my list. These are all product of my page kit challenge at Scrapbook-Oasis in which I shopped my stash - so be prepared for some old skool stuff to make a presence.

#1 Amanda O Scraplift

Photobucket

This is a blatant Amanda O Scraplift using up the last of my About A Boy remnants - just quick and simple.

#2 Caution Troublemaker

Photobucket

This one is also using up the sad remains of my CI Caution collection, quick and simple, moving on...

#3 Skater Girl

Photobucket

This one didnt turn out quite the way I expected and looking at it now I will be adding more stickles to bling up the title area which gets totally LOST amongst all of the Tessa Ann CUTENESS that is her BUTTONS!

#4 Princess

Photobucket

This was another use your scraps challenge. I addid this die cut pp to some old K&Co remnants to create this LO of my neice when she was in the NICU at just 3lbs. I love how the felt softens it up.

#5 Makeover

Photobucket

This turned out to be one of my faves for SURE. It was a product of my scrap your transparency challenge - in which I used a transparency and photo collage with some chipboard remnants. The chipboard crown was painted and glimmer misted in seaglass and is very shimmery IRL.

#6 Extreme Fun

Photobucket

I thought this Bo Bunny LO was hysterical, the take on EXTEME SPORTS with the photos of my son innocently riding a little bike with training wheels. I tried to use as much of the heidi swapp rub ons as possible so that I could scrap my stash.

#7 & 8

Photobucket

Photobucket

Both of these were created with some BEAUTIFUL Reminisce glitter papers. The paper is SOOOOOO gorgeous that you really dont have to do much besides adhere paper and a couple of embellishments. I used FP felt and stickles. These were my Racheal Ray LOs as both were done in 30 minutes.

#9 Spring Memories

Photobucket

Scrapping my stash of Pink Paislee I created this quickie LO of a day at the park with the family.

#10 Daddy's Girl

Photobucket

This was a scrap your stash of Basic Grey challenge. I had to get this product USED and combined it with some Hambly and glittery thickers.

#11 Big Sister

Photobucket

I love the soft colors of this paper and how gorgeous it all came together. I used Crate Paper pp and die cuts with some glimmer chips and random chipboard. The flowers are Bo Bunny and the buttons are all Autumn Leaves. The pearls are Kaiser. The Journaling card is MM - I REALLY REALLY shopped my stash for this one.

#12 My Girls

Photobucket

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this K&Co paper but never had the right embellishments to go with it until I picked up these felt butterflies. I couldnt bring myself to cut it up so I used it as a solid background to this one photo of me and my cyber sisters. I also used some embroidery thread to add texture.

#13 Fabulous Fourth

Photobucket

THIS LO KILLED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know whose bright Idea it was to invent this Bazzill Cardstock but they dont tell you that it takes HOURS TO STITCH!!! My LORD - by the time I was done stitching I was ready to throw it in the TRASH! I did manage to get it to coordinate with this paper by using silver glimmer mist and using black stickles to accent the rub on and flowers in the pp....you can see I gave up and moved on.

#14 Ride

Photobucket

The last one and one shy of my goal of 15. This was a scrap your flowers challenge, and I coordinated it to go with these floradoodles. All of the pp is KI.

Thats it!!!! I'm tapped out and need a few weeks to recover before you see new stuff from me. See ya later!
